Quick question! I-864 vs I-134

I have my consular interview on Nov 9th for my K1 visa. I'm triple checking that I have everything in order. My fiance (petitioner) completed the I134 as per the P3 checklist, and I have it with me to bring to the interview.

My question: I noticed on the P4 checklist that it says I-134 and I-864, both are Affidavits of support. Do I need the I864 as well or is that for something else?

Packet 4 lists things needed for all types of Visa Montreal processes, it's not specific to your case, it's just a default packet 4 sent to everyone applying for any visa through Montreal.. You need the I-134 for the K-1 interview, that's why it says in parenthesis (for fiance visa, other visa, etc). i-864 is needed for spousal visas.

The only time you're going to touch the I-864 is when you do AOS in the US after marriage.

Is the I-864 also for k1 if you have a co-sponsor? Or would the co-sponsor on a k1 also fill out a I-134?

If you have a sponsor and going through k1, they will also fill a i134. The i864 is used for immigrant petitions and adjustment of status
