Help: Unknowingly committed visa fraud (split and merge)

I have to agree with the rest of the comments that you didn't commit any visa fraud here. apply for the IR1 visa whenever you can. I got married to my husband 4 years ago and we've just now applied.

Marriage (if applicable): 2012-12-08

USCIS

I-130 Sent : 2016-05-02

I-130 NOA1 : 2016-05-11

Approved : 2016-08-24

NVC

NVC Received : 2016-10-03

Received DS-261 / AOS Bill : 2016-10-15

Pay AOS Bill : 2016-10-15

Send AOS Package : 2016-11-01

Submit DS-261 : 2016-10-15

Receive IV Bill : 2016-10-18

Pay IV Bill : 2016-10-18

Send IV Package : 2016-11-01

Case Completed at NVC : 2016-11-04

NVC Left : 2016-11-11

Hi u will be ok the same thing happen to me and i got a lawyer and everything work out fine. M husband is a us citizen

.A little advice do your research and do not lie to them it will come back and bite u. go on usgov website and try to get as much information as u can

You can ask USCIS for expedite, not border control. You will have to back in the US if you have an interview though. Good luck.

Hi, My husband and I got married while I was here it wasn't planning but on the day of arrival his close friend suggest it because of how happy we were to see each other and we said we would so we went straight to the marriage registry and got a marriage license( We had no clue it was a same day process, initially we though that you just apply and pick it up a few day/weeks later because that how we thought it to be in my home country) so my concern it that we will have problems with uscis because my I-94 bears the same arrival date as the marriage license....
