Hi everyone, hoping someone can offer me some advice/peace of mind.

My fiance's visa interview is at the end of the month. I am in the States now, and have been for a couple months. Before I left Turkey, my dad (who will be my co-sponsor) sent his I-134 and supporting documents to us. We never got them. Since I've been back, my dad has given me another copy of the same application/documents, and I've sent those as well. I got the same estimate (7-10 days) at the post office, and...you guessed it. They haven't arrived yet either. The closer the interview date gets, the more concerned we are. My dad is offering to send a digital copy, with a digital signature. Does anyone have recent experience with this sufficing?

My other questions is about my own sponsor application. I was a teacher in Turkey, but after coming back to the States, I'm working as a contractor/self-employed. I'm unsure what to put on my application as my occupation, since I don't yet have tax returns to show that I'm self-employed, and I sure don't want to wait until April to get them. I realize this question will be more or less a moot point once my dad's sponsorship documents are in-hand, but I'll take any advice I can get. This wait for the interview has been longer than expected, and I don't want to do anything to prolong it further.

Thanks, all!

This is a Turkey specific. Unfortunately, the detailed K-1 instructions for Turkey are not coming up.

https://tr.usembassy.gov/wp-content/uploads/sites/91/2016/09/K1K2-VISA-INSTRUCTIONS-FEB-2016.pdf

Those same instructions for Kiev say that the original of the 134 are not required: "We do not, however, require the original financial support documents. "

Call and see if electronic copies are acceptable.
