No biggie, Bethanie! I was sort of trying to keep it on the down low. ;) Because the rest of the time, its all about me, right? - so I thought I'd shake it up for the NOA2.

Yeah, that's for sure!!

I think that is what was bugging me the most about the 4 month wait for the NOA2 -- knowing that the rest of the process picks up speed! It killed me that we couldn't GET there. Now I must be an annoying ####### to be around, I'm happy all the time.

Problem is, when you actually end up with the visa you feel relief, triumph and you calm down to a normal person.

Then AOS begins :crying::unsure:

Wow, looks like we'll both be processed around the same time, phoned NVC and they say it was sent to London on the 23rd!

Phoned the State Department, but they say that the UK Embassy haven't put it on the system yet, so not sure if they've recieved it yet....The State department gave me the new case number though :)

Oh and I couldn't get DHL to work for the life of me!!

That'd be great if we had the same interview date, but you'll probably be a bit ahead of us!

I'm glad you said that about DHL! I can get results, but just none showing London. :(

BTW which State Dept. number do you call to see if its in the UK embassy's system? That's a new one on me. Or are you talking about NVC? I didn't know they would be able to see when its in London's system.

The State Department is on 001 202 663 1225 then press 1,0,0 to talk to someone :)

They can tell you whether the Embassy has put the file on the system, saves you calling the premium rate line in London to ask!!

Weeeeeeeeeee! :) That's so wonderful...really happy for you and Chas, Tracy...been a long time coming, but it's really nice in a way now too, right( Now that it's OVER I mean!!! :P ) You can feel like you really took things slowly and that you're rock solid. (NOT implying before anyone says ...that you weren't rock solid at any other point! OR that people who did it more quickly aren't..because we were one of those "quick" couples!) LOL all the disclaimers anymore! Anyway, really glad for you both....I think VJ is gonna be shakin' from all the jumping up and down when you post the "He's HERE!" thread (when you actually show up again a few weeks later!)

Speedy journey to ya, here on out... M.

We'd like him to possibly have the medical while I'm over there (Apr 15-28th) so I think we'll be fine to phone and get it after he receives packet 3.

AlienGirlUK - thanks for that phone number! I think I call in the middle of next week and see if we're on the system yet (give em a little time to get er done). I'm the USC so no 'premium number' for me to call anyway. ;)

MichelleandCraig - :) It has been a long time coming, but ultimately, we did it on our time frame and certainly now we have a very solid relationship. He's my best friend and my everything. I can't wait till he's here. (L)

:D I think you're spot on - I found that this morning!

I think it was actually sent yesterday although they told me the 28th. What they probably meant was they sent me down to the mail room to get it ready to send (but it was actually picked up yesterday).

I think I wasn't seeing it yesterday because I was looking before they'd picked up the package.

Ooh let's all track it together!

BTW why do they send it from NH to Ohio  ? I thought it'd go to New York and then across the ocean.
