You don't. You can start calling nvc in about 2 weeks from your noa2.

They can advise you if your case number.

Read your NOA2, it has all the information about what to do:

You should allow a minimum of 30 days for DOS processing before contacting NVC. If you have not received any correspondence from NVC within 30 days you may contact NVC by email at NVCINQUIRY@state.gov . You will need to enter the Uscis receipt number from this approval notice im the subject line. In order to receive information about your petition, you will need to include the petitioner's name and date of birth, and the applicant's name y date pf birth, in the body of the e-mail.

I called daily until I was given the number it doesn't hurt and everyone in here does it just wait two weeks to start. They will tell you we received a number will be assigned in two weeks but usually the next couple days they will have as well.

Good luck I got my noa2 6/25 case number 7/18 but there were delayed at that time due to case loads.

Much faster now ;)

I would call the NVC daily and sometimes a couple of times a day. They are open till midnight EST-- try to stay away from "High-peak" times. Keep trying even, if you get a busy number.

Good Luck!
