Does anyone know how long it takes from CC to interview date for Nairobi embassy? Also estimate of time when embassy personnel are out for Christmas holidays? I estimate that interview date could potentially be late December or January time frame but I believe it can be much later due to the holidays.

Greetings,

My fiancé and I just successfully completed the K-1 Visa process via the Nairobi embassy. I don'the know about the holiday hours but I think you can contact the call center and someone will give you that information: +254-20-619-0600 (in Kenya) or +1 703-439-2302 (in the United States). Also you can check out my timeline on my VJ profile on this site to get an idea of the time frame. If you would like specific information on our visa journey you can also check out my blog fiancevisauganda.wordpress.com

Good luck!

Thank you and congrats on successful completion of K1 visa. I have a quick question on evidence of bona fide relationship. We communicated a lot via Whatsup and Facebook. Printing Facebook messages is easy but found it hard for Whatup. I have an Iphone and think I will maybe take pictures. Did you use Whatup and if so how did you get the info? Also since we communicate daily I have so much and wondering if you had to get all this info or you selected key moments.

I will include airline tickets, hotel tickets, visas for my visits to Uganda and also when we meet for vacation in Dubai:). By the time she has her interview, we will have met 4 times. During my honeymoon I did not take lots of pictures but will make sure of my next 2 visits to have more.

I have visited your blog and it's great:)

Thank you hasmax80? Whatsapp is our main means of communication. For my evidence of relationship I printed one page for each month that we've been in a relationship. Let me tell you how I did it:Go to settings, then Chats, then Chat History, then Email Chat. Next you will choose the contact (your fiance)for the chat you want to email. It will ask you if you want to email with or without media. Choose without media. When I received the email I downloaded as a Word document and then selected the pages to print. Let me know if this works for you. I'm here if you need.

This is how I organized my evidence: I printed one FB post, one email, and one whatsapp transcript page for 8 months and arranged m chronologically. It was so cool going back over our posts and conversations from months back. A trip down memory lane?

Thank you very much Rayneflower I was able to download the Whatup messages based on your instructions.

So you mentioned you printed one page for each month. I think I will follow the same approach as we practically talked daily and this is a good idea.
