Hello,

My Fiancee has her interview scheduled. The only documents we are needing is the police record. Now, She is currently in another country, Canada. I know that the Embassy requires the beneficiary to bring in some Police records from any places of residence for an extended period of time.

She is from Venezuela (got police records from there). She came to the US for University (where we met) and stayed here for 4 years. These are the only places she has lived for an extended period of time.

I would love some clarification. There was somewhere that I read that she would NOT need police records from the US, since they will be doing a background check on her anyways.

Is there anyone that can verify if this is true? Is there anyone that didn't bring Police records that can give feedback?

Thanks,

Ryan
