Getting a stamp

Hi guys, I just want to know if someone already tried the process here in the Philippines on how to get a stamp/aunthentication for the marriage certificate. We got married in the US last August 17, 2013 and forgot to report it to the Philippine Consulate. Now, my husband needs it for his passport and stay here. He wants to stay here more longer and when we went to the immigration they told us they need the marriage to be authenticated by the Philiipine Consulate where we got married. But as stated above we forgot to report it. What to do now? Is there any other options that we can do? I badly need an answer sooner the better.

Thank you and have a good day

You and hubby are in 'pinas, yes? If that's the case, you and your hubby can report your marriage by mail. You should report your marriage to the Philippines Consulate which has jurisdiction over the place where you were married. If you were married in Oregon, the Philippines Consulate which has jurisdiction is the San Francisco consulate. The procedure for reporting your marriage is detailed on their web site.
