I have a question that I am really hoping someone can answer. My fiance and I are completing the G325 form for him. The problem we are running into is that my fiance or anyone in his family don't know their father's birth date. They know the year, but not the actual day. My fiance and his family lived in the country side in Haiti and they never celebrated birthdays and it is customary for the family to burn the birth certificate, etc. when the person dies. Do I just attach a statement to the form stating this or what should I do? Is this going to be a huge problem?

It's not a problem. Just write unknown.

If it isn't difficult, it isn't worth it.
