Administrative Processing - Tourist Visa

Hi to All,

Greetings!!! :idea::idea::idea:

I applied my tourist visa and I had Interview on Sept 08, 2016, The interview took 2 minutes only, and the consular officer inform me that my visa is approved.

but due to holidays HAJJ days, they are return my passport. I check the status of my visa application as per below response.

Case Creation Date: 07-Sep-2016 Status Updated Date: 08-Sep-2016
Your visa case is currently undergoing necessary administrative processing. This processing can take several weeks. Please follow any instructions provided by the Consular Officer at the time of your interview. If further information is needed, you will be contacted. If your visa application is approved, it will be processed and mailed/available within two business days.

Did they tell you when/ how to return your passport to them?

It is normal to be on AP when thye don;t ave your passport to put the visa in.

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.

Thanks for the reply, yes via aramex the consular officer handover me a memo pertaining the of Hajj Holiday and US Consulate will be returning on Sept 18. but as per the memo if the case is under AP i should wait their call. i will attach the file later on.

Dear All,

Greetings!!!

Until this moment my case still on AP, i talked to onlinechat, again they inform me that my case is on AP.

only the instruction of consular officer is to bring the passport in ARAMEX after Hajj, but due to memo handover

during the interview, im still waiting till.. i can't send my passport to them because im travelling next month.
