NVC: AOS, Proof of Relationship, Documents, etc.

So, my case is at NVC now. I called NVC. I was told, they only needed the last paycheck as proof of my income. I asked whether I had to submit proof of relationship such as pictures, chat logs, flight itinerary, etc. I was told, NVC did NOT need it. They just need the copy of our marriage license.

I wonder, how do you guys do it?

The proof of relationship mentioned on the NVC document checklist is for sponsors using household members to reach the minimum requirement. They must prove they are related to each other (birth certificates, etc)

You do not need to submit evidence of your relationship with your spouse to the NVC.

Note that there is a difference between evidence and proof. Spouses send evidence of an ongoing relationship to USCIS and take it with them to the interview.
