E-Service Request Question

I submitted my application on August 3. The check was cashed on the 5th. I called at least twice a week since the beginning of this month, the Tier 2 officer kept telling me that the NOA has been sent on the 5th and the biometrics has not been scheduled. I submitted E-request earlier this month asking for my NOA1 and biometrics that I still haven't received. I just checked my case history on the website and it says

  On September 20, 2016, we sent a response to your general inquiry, referral number WKD######.

  On September 7, 2016, your general inquiry, referral number WKD######, was assigned to an officer for response.

  Question 1:

  What does it mean "we sent a response to your general inquiry"? I checked my email and I didn't see anything from USCIS.

  Question 2:

  I called again this morning twice.

  First Tier 2 Officer said that biometrics has not been rescheduled for me.

  Second Tier 2 Officer said that I missed my biometrics that was scheduled on August 26. What the!!! I told him that it's not possible since I called ar least several times a week asking about my biometrics and no one has mentioned anything about missed biometrics. He said "Well, I don't know, that's what it says on the screen" Has anyone ever experienced this?

  I don't want my application get denied for something that is not my fault. Ugh.
