Its been almost 2,5 months since our interview and we are still pending security clearance.

Now our wedding was planned 14th of april but this date became impossible due the major delay.

However, its been also several months we didnt get to see eachother and if I don't get my visum

first half of april I want to visit Clara.

Belgium is one of the countries that can have a visa waiver. Do you think I would be allowed to travel

to her end april and like stay a month or so? I know they take fingerprints at the interview and at the

border point of entry. Would they send me on a plane back home if I visited her?

Visa Journey Completed: Permanent US Resident since February 2009!

It is possible to visit the U.S. while waiting for the K-1 visa to be approved. I did it several times, by car, from Canada to the U.S. without any problems.

You should be aware, however, that there is no guarantee that you will be allowed entry into the U.S. In order to increase your chances, you will need to bring lots of evidence that you intend to return to your home country after your "visit" to the U.S. Such things as lease/mortgage documents, most recent pay stubs, letter from employer/school stating the date you are expected back at work/school, etc.

Be honest with the POE officers, but don't volunteer too much information. Simply state you are visiting your fiance for a month and plan to return to your home country afterwards to await the approval of your K-1 Visa.

Good luck.
