Waiting "forever"...when should I contact them again?

My hubby had a second set of fingerprints (along with picture and signature) done in Milwaukee on August 12, 2016. His first Biometrics was when we lived in California and that was April 2015.

We haven't heard a thing since the Bio in August. The last time I contacted the USCIS was in February and they said the case was on hold because of pending security checks. It's been a month since the latest Bio. Should I contact them again or wait another month?

You guys have been waiting for way too long....sorry to hear that some folks having to do second round of fingerprints :(

When I was waiting (I'm still waiting) I sort of devised a plan of making phone calls/going to infopass/writing to senators (I haven't gone to that phase yet) to follow up very regularly and tightly. I believe once it's outside normal processing time and we don't follow up, the case will just keep sinking...

I have yet to call them, always doing email instead. Do I need to navigate a menu? I hate those phone menus :bonk:

It's a multi-step process but not that complicated really and involves some waiting time. I would do that if I were you...

Just saw your timeline. WOW!

Sending luck your way.

And I agree to start making phone calls.
