My I-130 petition was approved yesterday but my spouse got the K-3 Visa last week. Has anyone been in this situation? If so since the I-130 petition is sent to NVC then do they automotically not proceed to do any processing since they know the K-3 visa was processed and therefore the I-485 will be filed upon arrival of the beneficiary. The ultimate purpose of the K-3 is for the alien spouse to come to the US and file Adjustment of Status. Any advise on this matter will be greatly appreciated.

If your approved I-130 has been forwarded to NVC you can notify them that you are adjusting status in the US from a K-3. It will then be sent back to USCIS.
