Hi there,

While waiting for our I-130 approval I want to know if NVC will require beneficiary's police certificate and birth certificate. We are using a lawyer so does she (beneficiary) will need to send the translated copies to our lawyer and bring the originals to the interview with her? Thank You in advance :)

I believe the police certificate is due at interview and not sure about birth certificate. However, we had birth certificate translated today and plan to get police report after receiving NOA2.

The beneficiary should take all originals to the interview. You should also provide a copy (with translation if not in English) of any documents submitted to USCIS or NVC.

Thank You. :)
