Dear all,

Thank you so much for your help so far!

Some days ago I have received packet 3 from the Frankfurt consulate with the instructions on what to provide them. I have realized I have almost all the necessary except for a Japanese police record which will arrive in two to three months...

In this regard, I wanted some advice as to whether I should send the documents I have and afterwards forward them the Japanese police certificate or just send the complete documentation once I get the Japanese document as well. I have written an email to the consulate about this topic but their answer was not very clear...any similar situations/advice etc. would be greatly appreciated!

In addition, I wanted to clarify when to book the medical examination. Should I just go ahead and book an appointment or wait until the Consulate reviews my documentation and tells me to do so? The checklist avaialble on their website is not very clear in this regard...

Many thanks in advance for your help!
