I applied for nbi clearance many times before (local employment) without getting a hit. Earlier i went to nbi branch and applied for travel to usa purpose. I was shocked to know that i was hit. How could that be? My name is unique and the fact that i was able to get clearance before with no hassles. Now i have to wait for 8 days. Another stress on our visa processes :(

I am suspecting a glitch on the system as everyone who tried taking the mentioned clearance after it has become an online process got "HIT". A week after I applied, they just search my name and print it directly. Took seconds. I dont think you should worry.

Previous U.S. Visa/Trips
03-10-2014 : B1 issued date
03-24-2015 : B1/B2 issued date
02-26-2016 : Visited my aunt in Corpus Christi
02-27-2016 : Meet Ryan and he asked me out 
03-30-2016 : He proposed before I left U.S.
04-01-2016 : I left U.S. I wish I had enough days to marry him.
But, I have a very important business meeting to physically attend in Cebu on 04/04. I also have a business trip due in Japan for May 2016. 
Circumstances lead me to K-1.

Getting a hit is not unusual. If in the past you have had no problems I'm sure now will be the same. Take a deep breath. This process is long and you will have other occasions that can slow you down.

Everyone should be going to that link at Greenbaum's twisting arrow. I wouldn't have made it to the point of just waiting for Philippine Time (my fiancee lives on Philippine Time, grrr) on the CFO without Greenbaum's page. I found a few dead links on that page but working around those, his page was a must-use for me.
