Confirm address change after Green Card

I am not sure if this is the right place to post...

I have had my Green Card for some time now and we recently moved. Within the first few days I did an address change online (AR-11) and right after I got a confirmation that USCIS has received the address change. Will they ever confirm that they have actually changed the address? I haven't heard anything from them. My husband filled out his sponsor address change thing and sent it in the mail and he got a confirmation letter not long after. Is it normal to not hear from them after the address change?

My fiancé (US citizen) changed his address with USCIS, got the same email as you but never got a confirmation that the change was actually done. Turned out his address never changed, NOA2 was still sent to the old address. I don't know if it's even possible to actually change your address with them.

That's weird :P

Well I guess it doesn't really matter for me as I have my Green Card and won't expect anything from them until I send in my ROC papers and by then I'll write down whatever address we live at then anyway. But still.... We are required to keep them updated with where we live even after GC and they don't exactly make that easy for us.

It's even worse that you can't call them and actually trust what they say, you get different answers each time. I agree though, we're required to let them know our new address, but at the same time you've done what you could. You even got the confirmation email to prove it.
