Hi There,

I have recently submitted my DS-260 but need to amend it as I am going to get married in a month to my partner of 11 years.

Can you please advise if I should unlock the form and update it asap with "married" and the impending date, or wait until we are married and then get it updated then?

I would also appreciate any information about what documents he will then require for the interview - will it be all the same documents that I am required to present (police, school certificates, medical etc)?

Thanks in advance for all your assistance.

Wait until you are married before updating, though you may want to leave it unlocked in the meanwhile if you have a low case number.

Please make sure you read the links from your selection letter for instructions for selectees as it explains what is needed - short answer is everything except the education but please go by the official source rather than a forum response :) You will also need to take proof that you have a genuine relationship, which should be very easy if you've been together 11 years.
