CONFUSED WITH I864 PLEASE HELP!!!

hi guys! I am very confused I am trying to petition for my mother my wife and I both work so we both filled out form I864 however im afraid we don't make enough to sp onsor my mother. I have a family friend who is willing to help sponsor but when filing out form I864 ON PART 1. what would he check?? I AM THE ONLY JOINT SPONSOR I AM THE FIRST OF/ SECOND JOINT SPONSORS ??? PLEASE HELP THANK YOU

first of you, you don't file 2 i864, if you want to combine income with your wife, then you file the i864 as the sponsor and your wife files the i864A as your household member

if you aren't going to use your wife's income, then your friend will file another i864 as the only joint sponsor

THANKS SO MUCH!! I have one more question. Lets say my friend wants to help sponsor but he is married and plans on using his wifes income as well is that possible? and would it be the same process have him fill out I864 and his wife a I864A Or would I Need to find someone that qualifies on his own?
