Hello my fellow VJ's,

I have a question about the free MyUSCIS account. I've tried signing up a few times and every time I try and submit, I get a notification that says 'unauthorized verification'. I am able to check my case status where you can enter in your receipt # https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/landing.do; but below it, it says you can sign up for a free account.

So why am I unable to sign up for the free account?? Has anyone else had this issue? And is it actually a 'must' to have this free account or will I be missing out on something if I don't have one?

You should ask USCIS

They should be able to provide you with a better answer.

Case arrived at NVC: 01/26/2017

NVC sent case to USCIS : 02/09/2017 (system update)

Case receive by USCIS (text & email notification): 03/07/2017
