Before i start,thanks ladies and gents i posted on here and asked a-lot of questions all got answered and here i am with an approval just a month after my i-130 got to the USCIS.

I got my NOA2 how long should i wait till i begin calling to get my case number? And when they give me my case number is when they will ask for the two emails correct?

6/27/16 - Sent Package to Chicago lock-box via UPS

7/5/16 - NOA1 Text/Email / sent to Potomac (Hardcopy 7/10/16)

8/3/16 - NOA 2 I-130 Approved! Case sent to NVC! (Hardcopy 8/6/16)

8/19/16 to 9/4/16 - Visited wife for two weeks in NL. =}

9/1/16 - NVC Case and invoice # received. (Email) Finished DS260 and Paid AOS Fee.

9/8/16 - IV Fee Paid!

9/16/16 - DS260 Finished!

9/27/16 - Sent Documents to NVC.

11/21/16 - Called NVC. Case reviewed and accepted on 11/18. Waiting for email/mail.

11/28/16 - Got Email stating we are now waiting for an interview spot!

12/11/16 - Got the interview date! 1/12/17!

1/12/17 - ...ACCEPTED SHE IS NOW WAITING FOR HER PASSPORT IN THE MAIL! =]

1/18/17 - Passport and visa in her hands! We now wait till 2/24 for her to fly to me! (Has to finish work contract)

2/24/17 - She is now here with me! POE was simple,she only took 10 minutes with them checking her visa! "Welcome to America,missus"

3/15/17 - SSN Card Received.

4/10/17 - Greencard Received.

 

Preparing I-751 (ROC)

11/26/18 - I-751 Prepared and mailed out.

11/27/18 - UPS Confirmed Delivery at 10:30AM

12/3/18 - Checks cashed and got Email/Text With Receipt #

01/3/19 - Extension letter received.

Before i start,thanks ladies and gents i posted on here and asked a-lot of questions all got answered and here i am with an approval just a month after my i-130 got to the USCIS.

I got my NOA2 how long should i wait till i begin calling to get my case number? And when they give me my case number is when they will ask for the two emails correct?

No they won't ask for email ( did not ask me ). 3 weeks is transfer time but I kept on calling them every 2 days until someone got tired of me hearing and gave me my case number after 3 weeks and 4 days.

You got to move fast and keep process rolling fast

Once case number and invoice pay fee and fill out DS 261 wait for 24 hr let transaction turn to Paid or just call and conform dS261 over phone. Until they won't confirm DS261 / make you agent keep on calling them.

Then 24 hr from that time other fee will unlock pay and wait

And then DS 260 unlock fill out print conformation send all Doccunents and Police certificate and wait for 4 weeks and you are done

If PCC not done then start working on PCC ( I had to wait on PCC took 3 weeks on India for that ) :(

Step 1 After USCIS NOA2 Gather all AOS / IV Package Documents In 3 weeks


Between USCIS Approving and NVC Case Number you have 2 to 3 weeks gather all AOS and IV Documents Get package ready.


Step 2 Obtain NVC Invoice and Case number.


​After 2 weeks of NOA2 Keep on Calling NVC every day to get case number And Invoice number


Step 3 Pay First Fee and DS261


After getting NVC Case Number and Invoice Number Log in to webpage Pay First Fee and Fill out DS261 Takes 24 to 38 Hr to get fee status paid.


Step 4 Conform Agent / Ds261 Over Phone and Sent out Documents


Once First fee turns Paid Online ( Usualy 24 to 48 hr) Call NVC And conform choice of agent over Phone If they won't keep on calling them Until someone will Or other fee won't be unlocked.Also Once you get Welcome letter on email Print out Document Checklist sheet And Sent in your documents to NVC


Step 5 Pay Other Fee and Fill out DS260 (Total time from DS 261 to here should be no longer then 15 days )


​Step 6 Conform Document delivery AT NVC And Ask them Processing Time..


Step 7 Check For CC ( Hopefully no REF )


Call them every other day 2 weeks from DS260 and Check status.. Also Check Online NVC Page If you have 3 N/A your case Complete! Congratulation you are almost done.


Step 8 48 Hr After CC Conformation Call NVC For appointment for interview


Congratulation On your NVC CC AND Good Luck with Interview

What's a PCC?

You need to do right and double or triple check your forms and Doccunents just by fast I meant call them lot otherwise they will take almost weeks to do each steps.

PCC = Poloce Clearance Certificate

Want to Speed up NVC Process ?

Oh that I agree with I do check my forms over quite a bit to make sure. And I do wanna make this as fast as possible just want everything to be done right but I agree.

But thank you! She's already gathering her stuff for what we need to send and I got all my tax stuff already.

Just to be sure,all i need is the "Return Transcript" right? I was going to send that in with a copy my W2 as well just to be sure.

Should i send all last three years or would just last years be good enough?

NVC will be okay with 1 yr But Embassy will be picky so just send 3 yrs of IRS Transcript and also last yr of Tax return and W2 and all other supporting Doccunents. Try to make it in 1 pakage with 2 different section / pakage marked AOS and IV Doccunents.

At this stage NVC just need copy of most of Doccunents. Except for i864 printed and sign by hand ( PDF Edit and sign documents won't be accepted)

If you are using the tax transcript then the w2 is not needed. The tax transcript is the easiest one to send to NVC. Rather than sending the w2 and 1040. You really only need the hard copy of the 2015 tax transcript to send in. 2014 and 2013 are optional to send in but the amounts for all 3 yrs must be written on the Affidavit of Support.

If you are using the tax transcript then the w2 is not needed. The tax transcript is the easiest one to send to NVC. Rather than sending the w2 and 1040. You really only need the hard copy of the 2015 tax transcript to send in. 2014 and 2013 are optional to send in but the amounts for all 3 yrs must be written on the Affidavit of Support.

Ok. We have the option of three transcripts,there all a single page so i'll just send one of each. I just was not sure "Which" transcript it was is all ;P Thank you though.

Does the politice certificate and birth certificate to be translated if not in English?

It would be a pain in the butt for me to get an employment letter. I have my paystubs though. Should that be enough for.. Evidence of employement?

Can't find edit button..

My work does not give out employment letters because we use some place called the work number.

11/21/16 - Called NVC. Case reviewed and accepted on 11/18. Waiting for email/mail.

11/28/16 - Got Email stating we are now waiting for an interview spot!

12/11/16 - Got the interview date! 1/12/17!

1/12/17 - ...ACCEPTED SHE IS NOW WAITING FOR HER PASSPORT IN THE MAIL! =]

1/18/17 - Passport and visa in her hands! We now wait till 2/24 for her to fly to me! (Has to finish work contract)

2/24/17 - She is now here with me! POE was simple,she only took 10 minutes with them checking her visa! "Welcome to America,missus"

3/15/17 - SSN Card Received.

4/10/17 - Greencard Received.

 

Preparing I-751 (ROC)

11/26/18 - I-751 Prepared and mailed out.

11/27/18 - UPS Confirmed Delivery at 10:30AM

12/3/18 - Checks cashed and got Email/Text With Receipt #

01/3/19 - Extension letter received.

It would be a pain in the butt for me to get an employment letter. I have my paystubs though. Should that be enough for.. Evidence of employement?

My work does not give out employment letters because we use some place called the work number.

.

Pay stub is fine

I had also same issue my work was hard to get letter so I typed simple 2 line letter and had my supervisor sign it for me and NVC accepted it

Want to Speed up NVC Process ?


Check Guides From Guide section for doccuments and list of stuff and follow this steps


Step 1 After USCIS NOA2 Gather all AOS / IV Package Documents In 3 weeks


Between USCIS Approving and NVC Case Number you have 2 to 3 weeks gather all AOS and IV Documents Get package ready.


Step 2 Obtain NVC Invoice and Case number.


​After 2 weeks of NOA2 Keep on Calling NVC every day to get case number And Invoice number


Step 3 Pay First Fee and DS261


After getting NVC Case Number and Invoice Number Log in to webpage Pay First Fee and Fill out DS261 Takes 24 to 38 Hr to get fee status paid.


Step 4 Conform Agent / Ds261 Over Phone and Sent out Documents


Once First fee turns Paid Online ( Usualy 24 to 48 hr) Call NVC And conform choice of agent over Phone If they won't keep on calling them Until someone will Or other fee won't be unlocked.Also Once you get Welcome letter on email Print out Document Checklist sheet And Sent in your documents to NVC


Step 5 Pay Other Fee and Fill out DS260 (Total time from DS 261 to here should be no longer then 15 days )


​Step 6 Conform Document delivery AT NVC And Ask them Processing Time..


Step 7 Check For CC ( Hopefully no REF )


Call them every other day 2 weeks from DS260 and Check status.. Also Check Online NVC Page If you have 3 N/A your case Complete! Congratulation you are almost done.


Step 8 48 Hr After CC Conformation Call NVC For appointment for interview


Congratulation On your NVC CC AND Good Luck with Interview
