Hi yall!!!

I have tons of questions all full of my head right now

but most of all, I wonder if there is going to be any differences between

3year rule and 5 year rule on naturalization processing timewise.

I got my green card on May 2011 so it definately has been over 5years.

However what my husband thinks is that since I got green card through marriage, even though it's been more than 5 years since, he thinks that it's more right for me to file under 3 year marriage category rather than 5 years one.

He believes that 5year rule is only for those who acquired GC through somethjng other than marriage like jobs or etc. I also am confused on this because there isn't much of further description on this on USCIS...

I pretty much have all the documents needed for 3year one already, but if either one of them is ok for me to apply as, then why bother to add all the documents for 3 year one unless there are some benefits such shorter process time or something?

I need your advices on this matter!!

Thank u so so much in advance♡

If you have your green card since May 2011, you should definitely apply under the 5 year rule. It doesn't matter anymore that you originally got your green card via marriage. Even if you apply under the 3 year rule, the immigration officer will treat your application under the 5 year rule at the interview.

Thank you so so much♥

If I could add one more..

Is it ok to leave it blank on n400 when it says "(if applicable)" on questions when it doesn't apply on me. Or should I put N/A on every blanks? (Like middle name which i dont have, apt numbers or spouse's prior spouse's infos or such)

I know I sound silly but I'm super nervous about not filling out forms in the way they want might delay the process.
