Hey guys,

Although officially married, my wife and I are wanting to plan our wedding day for next year. I'm worried that I'll be u lucky enough that the date we choose will collide with my interview date.

What's the advice on this, I know some people may say don't plan it etc. But had anyone been in this situation before?

Where are you planing the wedding celebrations?

If it is abroad, no problem, you can often choose your interview date (you don;t say which country you are in), or if not, postpone the interview.

If it is in the USA, I would wait with setting a firm date until you have the visa in hand, or plan for 2018 to be on the safe side.

Thanks for your quick response.

We're planning on doing it in the UK (my home country) sometime in the summer next year. I was just trying to plan so it's before the possible interview date.

I'm a little worried if I postpone the interview date I'd have to wait another few months before a time comes available?
