I-130 for Stepchild

I-130 for stepchild mailed out on June 6. Priority/receipt date is June 8.

I'm from California but the thing got routed to Nebraska. Is that normal? I always had CSC before, and it was pretty fast on the I-129F, roughly 2 months from my last submission in 2014. Hopefully Nebraska won't take the full 5 months it's showing on the processing times.

Also, what type of visa will be given to the child once we are at that step? Is it the IR-2 Visa?

Just found out my NOA2 approved Oct 25, 2013 is still good. Was automatically extended by the embassy until one year of the last date of notification which is Dec 3, 2013. It's a race now.

Thanks Hank. Is the visa for the child an IR-2? That way I can look up the correct type on Igor's List.
