The form distributed by Immigration is a G-325A and has 4 pages interlaced with carbon paper.

One must be filled out for the petitioner and each recipient.

I have copies of the form going back 20 years and it seems pretty much unchanged.

On filing the G-325A, do we both fill out this form of 4 copies each , or is it just the non citizen.

Also , what is the difference between the G-325 and the G-325A ??

thanks guys

I'm just a bit confused. When you say "One must be filled out for the petitioner and each recipient" you mean the person who arrived to the US on a K-1 visa has to fill out the G-325a. Not the US citizen. Correct?

Best to read the instructions that accompany the form - I-129F or I-130.

For example: I-129F Petition for Alien Fiance (or also used for spousal K-3 Visa) Expires 12/31/06,

Instructions, item 8.A. "Submit a completed and signed Form G-325A (Biographic Information) for you and a completed and signed Form G-325A for your fiance."

I have one that I submitted in 1987 - the form is essentially the same - for a K-1 Fiance Visa.

Unless things have changed in the last few months.

On filing the G-325A, do we both fill out this form of 4 copies each , or is it just the non citizen.

Its impossible to answer your question unless you tell us more about what you are filing, but let me take a stab:

I you are filing I-130 and I-485, then you need to fill out 3 G-325A's. 1 for the US Citizen and 2 for the benefitiary. Each G325A needs to be filled out on all 4 pages.

If you came here on a K-1 and are just filing I-485, you only need to file 1 G-325A, for the benefitiary, with the I-485 application, again fill out all 4 pages.
