Hi. I know exactly how you feel we did the same thing on our I-129F. Did not check either box in 15, whether she had been to US. Funny though we did answer other parts of question 15 (a) with N/A. We did not receive an RFE. But it did take 76 days for NOA2 fro NOA1. She had never been to US either. We did prepare to answer if asked at the interview why this was not checked (simply overlooked) but it was not asked specifically about that at the interview. We received our visa still in the 5 month time line.
