We finished our interview yesterday and got approved.

When I checked the status earlier today,

on CEAC, the status is still "Ready"

"Your case is ready for your interview when scheduled at the U.S. Consular section. If you have already scheduled an appointment for an interview, please prepare your documents as directed in your appointment letter and appear at the consulate on the appointed date and time. Otherwise, please wait until you have received interview scheduling instructions."

While on ustraveldocs, passport tracking

the status is

There is no status update available for the passport number submitted

Is this normal guys?

Thank you all!

We had our interview, were approved, and it still said "ready" until the next day, when it said issued.

I am not sure how reliable the tracking sources are for these things. I seem to recall more than one person with visa in hand but the status was not what one would expect. There is also another way to track...log into the ustraveldocs site with the same ID you used to schedule the interview. On the main dashboard, there is a box that says where your passport is. Ours says that it is still at the embassy.

The 2GO website was still telling us that UID, MNL#, passport #, are all not found, and now the tracking tool is entirely broken.

I wouldn't worry too much. Expect to receive your Visa in 5 to 10 days. Once you resign yourself to this simple thought, it makes things much easier. I won't be worried about any of this waiting once she is in my arms.

Don't worry it will change soon. It happened to me as well. Maybe the embassy is kinda slacking, even though it changed to Issued already after I got approved on Monday, the passport hasn't left the embassy yet. Printing time might be taking a while, we don't know how many visa applicants got approved that day and if their printing it by batch.

Try all ways to track it to be sure:

1. Check CEAC website to check if there would be any changes (Ready, Administrative Processing, Issued)

2. Check USTravelDocs, input passport number to see if embassy still has passport or has been received by courier

3. Check cgi.secure.force to also see if passport has already left embassy

4. Finally, e-trace of 2GO to check if passport is already in transit. You can check using MNL case number, passport number or UID

I read most people saying that UID is what worked for them (this is the 8-digit number on your appointment letter for interview)

I think 2Go is gonna keep saying invalid until it actually received the passport.

CEAC status does say 7-10 waiting period.

So here's to waiting and hoping for the best! :)

Keep checking for updates, soon it will be with 2GO
