Facebook messenger problem

So I'm trying to get out Facebook messenger conversations which is basically how we communicate. We're not really able to use video chat due to her internet access.

So what's the best way to gather messages from day one chatting together and so on using Facebook messenger?

Tried to Google how which makes zero sense to me since none of that works.

You can download the chat logs into an HTML. From there use [CTRL] and F at the same time to search the HTML for the person's name you want to print.

I just took screenshots or mine, but the CO never even looked at them, so I wouldn't worry too much

So I downloaded my profile on there is a messages option but once clicked it brings me to a inactive web page..

What am I doing wrong?

If you log into facebook on a web browser instead of the mobile app there is a way to download the whole conversation then jump to the top instead of having to scroll up for a month. then just screen shot it. I've been screen shotting random pages for months now so hopefully that's good enough. I have changed FB accounts so I don't even have the ones from 2 yrs ago when we first met

I finally figured it out and been copy and pasting it to a word program of segments of our conversations will that be acceptable to present to them?
