hello all my dear VJ friends.

I have a friend. he is going to do K-3 process to bring his wife and his son oversea to U.S.A.

He needs to know how many income tax years required for his process? He only have 2006 income tax.

in my previous K-1, I used three-year income tax.

question is: is it OK is he only use 2006 income tax plus his money in the bank?

thanks.

Tim

actually, I think it depends on the consulate. Some AFAIK, have asked for only the most recent year. Most however do ask for 3 years.

PLEASE DO NOT PRIVATE MESSAGE ME OR EMAIL ME. I HAVE NO IDEA ABOUT CURRENT US IMMIGRATION PROCEDURES!!!!!

Transcprits from the IRS and free and easy to get... It would be better if you just ordered all three years and let the consulate pick what they want from you...
