Take what is listed on the embassy letter. They usually don't take the time to look through any of the documentation that you take unless they suspect fraud in the relationship.

If pay stub is not specifically listed in your letter, then there is no need.

Ditto what Brassballs said.

The documents that are listed on the Embassy Letter for the financials has not been asked for about 9 months now. Never the less, it is still in the letter and may be asked for at the interview. Pay stubs are not one of the requirements but W2's are.

The embassy instructions letter state ONLY the tax return and W2 as required, other things are optional, thus not required. If you have been working for the same company for some time then I wouldn't bother with pay stubs. And bank statements are not needed either.

One more thing, I'm kinda worried about my dad, because he will be going with me to Seattle once i have my visa on hand so that he can attend my wedding. He is a tourist visa holder(multiple entry), this will be his 2nd time to visit back America. I need to ask some questions from you guys on how to prepare for his travel with me. Sorry for bothering you here. ???

Do we also need a supporting documents that might the immigration in USA might ask at the airport? Like who will accomodate him once his there, or who will be supporting his expense. Does my fiancé needs to send a letter of invitation stating about our wedding? (we haven't started any layouts on our wedding day because we are focusing on my upcoming interview.) incase he needs to make an invitation letter for formality sake, should he state that he will be the one to pay all his expenses while he is there? My dad will just stay for a couple of months and after our wedding, he will be back to the philippines because He gotta go back to work.

Actually, during his first tourist visit, my aunt were the one who invited and sent all her supporting documents (w2, lnvitation letter etc) and he stayed in there house for a few months. Hence, All they asked at the airport was about his work in the philippines and where will he stay in Seattle. They never asked for any bank statements and who will be cover for his stay. Although they put some cash on his bank just incase they would ask about it.

Hope someone can address my concern. God speed.

Being your dad already has a tourist visa all you dad needs is his passport with visa, no other documents are required. They will ask his purpose of visit, where he will be staying and length of stay.

He should be able to go through the same processing window as you, so you two can stay together during entry.
