THE VALIDITY OF THE VISA

i can't leave my country to the usa until JUNE 11, that's why i will go for JUNE 12, it's late i know but if i have a problem with my flight i have an another day JUNE 13 so it will be good i think

I'd have been very nervous if I'd cut it so close. Remember, you're travelling during June, its a busy time, holidays and all that. If your flight has problems they might not be able to get you on another for a few days - remember that every one else on your flight is going to try to get on the next ones too. This happened to my parents some years back travelling over christmas - they ended up having to travel 2 weeks later.

There are many things that can delay flights or cancel flights

1) Technical problem with aircraft

2) You miss the flight (problem getting to airport - I've had a couple of close shaves over the years due to getting caught in bad traffic after a road accident).

3) Airport closed (fog, bad weather, security problem/attack, powercut)

4) Flight is over booked, they often offer compensation in this case, but that doesn't help your visa situation

5) Volcanic eruption - remember the one a few years back in Iceland that caused havoc with air traffic?

6) Strike (not uncommon for air traffic control to go on strike in France, but the pilots or cabin crew might too, or ground servicing etc)

7) Documents not in order (passport stolen, etc)

I'd want to be travelling at least a week before expiry, and I'd still be a bit nervous.
