Hello folks, i moved from my old address to my address and uscis just sent mail to my old address. My question is: are they going to forward my mail from USCIS when it get to a local post office to my new address. please advise me.

I`m trying to fill out my timeline but still couldn't get it.

Thanks.

you need to official change your address with the USPS, you can do it online. cost like 2 bucks.even though USPS suggests to change your address with any govt. entities you have been expecting mail from. they will still forward your mail once you have changed the address. by the way, do change it officially with USCIS as well

they do forward it. i would not recommend it though. i have been through the exact situation and it can be confusing. the reason they suggest to update the address with the govt. entity is because of any possible delays in SS checks and stuff like that. some people are completely dependent on these aids.
