For planning purposes approximately how long does it take to get an interview? My Fiance lives in Naha and interviews are conducted there but they also do interviews in Tokyo. We put Naha on the forms so my question is this....about how long does it take to get the interview? Do we really have any choice in where the interview is? Me being the planner that I am this whole process is killing me of not knowing a timeframe. Makes it very difficult to plan anything.

I'm in the same boat as you. Pretty sure the interview will be in Naha, but as no one else on this site has reported about how long it takes for the Naha consulate, I have no idea. For Tokyo, the average is 60 days or so from the Consulate receiving the application.
