Hello

So St. Luke's posted on their website 5/5 that they will be closed 5/9 for election day. My wife has flown over to the Philippines on AP to take her daughter through the K2 process and we had an interview scheduled for 5/12 (Thursday) figuring that her daughter could have the physical done on 5/9, 5/10, 5/11 as I understand a medical for a child takes three days (her daughter is five). So now our whole schedule is wrong because we didn't know St. Luke's would be closed as they gave very little notice... does anyone know if the embassy will have any mercy and let us come Friday instead of Thursday? If not we need to rebook flights, change the appointment, and really it's a huge problem. Or is it possible the Medical can be done in just two days if the situation is explained, or will they have no motivation to be helpful to us? I guess I'm wondering if there is any hope to have things still done for the scheduled interview on 5/12 or if I should immediatetly start planning to reschedule everything. If I call the embassy and explain St. Luke's didn't have it listed until 5/5 will they even care or will they just say tough luck? At St. Luke's will they be at all willing to speed things up or will they just say tough luck?

Any insight would be greatly appreciated... very frustrated here...

Thanks!

Medical is a three day process for children because of the TB skin test.

Embassy will not let you do your interview without an appointment, you will need to reschedule. Give the embassy a call and see if they have an opening.
