Interviewed at Islamabad Embassy, 12th April for K-1, now in AP

I decided to create a thread to make it easy for the people who were interviewed on 12th April at Islamabad Embassy and got approved but still waiting in AP.

My case was updated as AP after finishing the interview on 12th April. I was told I will get the passport back in 2 to 3 weeks and no slip was given to me.. I got 3 updates on my case on 20th, 21st April and 02 MAy. I send an email on 29th April to the embassy so the case got updated again due to that inquiry.

I am expecting to hear good news this week or next week probably. Please feel free to share your experiences too if you had been interviewed on 12th April.

have you received your passport or Is it ready to be picked up from somewhere?

I got another update and its say ready and status changed to non immigrate visa.

I think I will hear the good news in next couple of days

WE WERE re-interviewed on 12 April too, updates on 20,21 23 and 25 April now mail update on 3rd may - nothing else yet. still says ready since re-interview

when my status changed to ready yesterday after staying AP for 3 weeks. It was written if your application is approved your visa will be processed and mailed in two business days. Later on it was changed back to administration process but it was still written in two business days it will processed. so I am hoping to hear something tomorrow.

when you enter your case number. new window pop up and you can see on the top its written non immigrant application. I never noticed that before so I am assuming this is how one can if the status is changed to non immigrant...

I know it hard to waiting in AP with the state uncertainty but I am sure you will get your visa issued soon!

Case Creation Date changed: 5/03/2016
changed from Immigrant to Non-IV visa: 5/03/2016
5/03/2016- Later in the day changed to AP again

I am freaking out little bit cuz we have planned the wedding in the next month on 04th June.

When your status changed from AP to ready for first time it meant that your AP has been cleared and case is READY for Issuance - When it changed to AP again it meant Visa is going through Issuance - Next it should turn to Ready again, it will mean that Your Visa had been issued and it is Ready for dispatch

ISSUE (that we will hopefully see this week) means that Visa has been sent to AMEX

Breaking:

Case went into AP again, and creation date changed...

It also shows AP in non-immigrants section

So visa is on its way
