Back in the day when everyone was all over ipads, I had an iRiver. Not many people are familiar with them, but MUCH better quality than apple. I always hated apple.

iPad to iRiver is like Windows is to Linux. One is for the masses, one is for the pros. Not saying I use Linux cause I certainly don't, I just don't have time for those things anymore but that is why they are more popular because most people don't.

Well bing1and I find this thing called work weird. But seriously I don't understand the last sentence of your post. Could you rephrase it. Got the bit about Linux, and you not using it..then you lost me.

This last sentence bugs me....people have more time for things that you don't have time for, and that is why they are popular..you are different from most people? Trying to work out the syntax here.

lol, god, what kind of horrible monster do you think I am? :)

No what I meant was - both linux and iriver for example offer more functions, better quality overall, more customizable, more things you can "program" and enjoy it more. However, it is all time consuming. Those who do not have the time and/or the know how for those things, use the simpler one size fit all like windows and ipads. I am not different I use windows as well. My point was it is more popular BECAUSE most people, just like me, don't have the time to mess around with it all. It is made for the masses.
