For those of you who have recently scheduled an interview, how does the scheduling work?

If you have your NVC, you can schedule online...but what do the available dates look like? Are there any same month scheduling options? It seems like I read somewhere that anytime you schedule, it will be in the following calendar month. I was wondering if this is true, is it a scheduling rule or just that the interviews for the current month are always full?

Any recent information would be appreciated.

Once you get to the actual selection page to choose your date it will be a calendar and those dates that are available are in blue and those not available are grayed out.

How about ... depends. or.. No. There are no sets rules for available dates. Many times current month dates are available, but April is about over, May will be available currently along with any straggling days from Aprils (if any).

If you read something from a couple years ago there were ZERO dates available, folks were basically living on the interview scheduling page watching for any opening... any opening.

Then we may be able to get an interview 3 or 4 weeks from when we have a case number...I was thinking there would be at least a month lag.

It seems that NVC is becoming the bottleneck recently.

4 weeks or so from when you get your MNL# would work.

Interview calendar for May in USEM is 3,6,12,16,18 & 23 :-)

You could actually create an account and not setup any interview and it will give you ideas on closest date available. We schedule ours 2 weeks out. Paid VISA payment thru BPI and 4 hrs later you can setup interview.
