Hi everyone. I am in the process of filing my adjustment of status. My wife and i have been together for a little over 4 yrs. I came to the US to visit her but while i was here she proposed and we got married. I came here in may and was suppose to leave in novemeber but we got married in october so now my time has expired. When filling out the form i am asked to provide my I-94 number and so i went on the site to get it, however the date they have tht i was suppose to leave is incorrect. Should i still use the same I-94 number ? I am affraid if i reach out to the US boarder and protection to ask about this i will be deported being tht my time has already expired. HELP !!!!!

How is it "incorrect"? The date on the I-94 is the authoritative date so in a way you can say that it is correct and the other places are "incorrect". Anyway, why does it matter what the admit-until date is? You were apparently not relying on your I-94 being unexpired anyway.

It's a bit confusing because in my passport they gave me six months but the "admit until" date on their website is from the time i was here previously so i dont know if i should use the same I-94 number. And when i am filling out the form do i put the date in my passport or on the site

So you mean that the entry date on the I-94 is not your latest entry, but a previous entry? So your travel history doesn't show your latest entry at all? Perhaps they entered your name differently or made a typo so it is a different record in the system? Did you try different orderings / spellings of your name?

You should put the date of your last entry, and maybe "unknown" for I-94 number. Are you doing Adjustment of Status as an Immediate Relative (spouse, under-21 child, or parent of US citizen)? I am assuming you are since you are not caring that the I-94 is expired. If so, then you should probably attach a copy of the entry stamp as the proof of legal entry for I-485. I agree that it is probably not a good idea to have CBP fix it now.

No the entry date is correct on the I-94 the issue is the date i was suppose to leave. It has shows as a previous depaeture date i got when i entered the US. Yes, i am married to a US citizen so i am filing for Adjustment of Status.

You mean the "admit until" date is before the entry date?

Anyway, since the I-94 shows the correct entry, you should use that I-94 because it shows that you entered on that date, which is what really matters.
