Sending ROC paperwork end of April, help!

I have some not so smart questions about filing. I hope you can help me:

1. Is it ok if I put all documents in a Manila envelope before the packaging envelope? Do we label it or print something outside for them to see what it's for?

2. Is it ok to use paper clips when organizing these documents (all bank statements in one paper clip, all amex statements in one, etc etc)

3. I read somewhere that it's ok to use a highlighter just so they know what I am trying to point out in the documents, is this still ok?

4. I can't remember if I ever have an ELIS account but everytime I try resetting the password, I would never get the password reset email. I remember I have been checking my green card delivery status at one point after coming herr through DCF. Do we really need one or can we just track the case online without getting an account? I have an extra email I can use but I don't want to open one yet in case they will send me instructions later.

5.USPS is the mail carrier of choice, right? Sending it thru first class or priority mail? or does it even matter?

August 25,2014 Went to SSA to see what's going on with my SSC- SAVE has my middle name together with my first name.

August 28,2014 ELIS went from ACCEPTED TO OPTIMIZED IN PROCESS (INITIAL REVIEW)

September 2 Called local ssa and was told SSC was mailed/Elis says Green CARD production has begun

September 4,2014-received ssc

September 8,2014- green card mailed/closed on elis

September 9,2014- green card received yahooo!!

Mailed Packet: 4/29/2016

NOA1: 5/2/2016

Bio Appt: 6/1/2016

Approval:2/13/2017

Received 10 year green card:2/17/2017

I have some not so smart questions about filing. I hope you can help me:

No, just address it as stated. There is no need for any additional info. USCIS is already quite familiar with which application go to which address.

2. Is it ok to use paper clips when organizing these documents (all bank statements in one paper clip, all amex statements in one, etc etc) Yes.

3. I read somewhere that it's ok to use a highlighter just so they know what I am trying to point out in the documents, is this still ok? Nope, they seem to detest your personal highlighting. What is important to us may not be important to them.

4. I can't remember if I ever have an ELIS account but everytime I try resetting the password, I would never get the password reset email. I remember I have been checking my green card delivery status at one point after coming herr through DCF. You could include a note stating that you cannot recall and cannot retrieve your ELIS number. Do we really need one or can we just track the case online without getting an account? You can track your application without and ELIS number. But know that the online tracking system is spotty at best. I have an extra email I can use but I don't want to open one yet in case they will send me instructions later.

5.USPS is the mail carrier of choice, right? Sending it thru first class or priority mail? or does it even matter? It does not matter. I would suggest getting delivery confirmation. It's cheap and you can track when and where your mail was delivered.
