passport photos with jewelry

Hello All! My wife and daughters just recently got their medical. What got me so irated is that I made sure they have all the important documents that they need prior to leaving Cebu to Manila. Well sure enough, when they handed their passport photos, the clerk from SLEC said that passport photos shouldn't have jewelry on. And that they needed it redone and resubmitted or else the medical results will not be released. We are tight financially so I was wondering if the old passport photos that they have that shows jewelry will not be accepted at USEM?

04/19/16- Mailed new NBI clearance with AKA via 2GO

04/21/16- 2GO document out for delivery to USEM

04/22/16- Case touched, still AP

04/27/16- CEAC status changed ISSUED :dancing:

04/30/16- Visas on hand!!!; ELIS fees paid

05/03/16- CFO done: Immigrant Data Summary detached in all visa packets :ranting:

05/06/16- Visa packets and passports returned to USEM via 2GO

05/10/16- Visa packets received at USEM

05/13/16- Resealed visa packets received

05/29/16- POE: JFK

USEM is not so perticular but Philippines are as they require no jewelry and hair behind the ears. Redo as you are not getting beyond the gatekeepers.

6-8 PP photos cost about 100P, less than a good halo-halo.

Have them redone without jewelry, including ear rings. Most agencies will know the requirements, or do google search before your fiancé goes.
