Hello VJ! I have a question regarding on my mother's SLEC medical examination.

My mom recently got her medical examination done at SLEC in Ermita. Upon receiving her medical result or packet, a lady told her that she is scheduled to appear in U.S. embassy for interview this March 21, 2016 without specific time and she told my mom to bring the result and her passport only. What's confusing is we still haven't receive any appointment letter yet from NVC.

I'm petitioning both of my parents and they both went to get their medical exam at SLEC. My father was scheduled to appear to his visa interview this March 21st! but cancelled due to his sputum test culture.

so what I'm thinking is they used my father's appointment so my mom could attend to the visa interview this march 21?

I'm kinda skeptical about it because NVC requested an additional document "NBI clearance" for her AOS or IV and I just sent it last Feb 16. so it's been 30 days today.

Does SLEC have the authority to schedule my mom's interview without the NVC sending a notice? does this happened to you before or to anyone of your relatives?

Thanks VJ this forum has helped me greatly from my citizenship to my parents visajourney may Godbless you all.

NVC is the one issuing all the interview appointment right? yes I'm well aware of that my father's sputum test result will be available on april 28th. My only concern is my mom's interview this march 21st. is it possible that they used my father's appointment? because SLEC notifies US embassy if the patient needs more examination like the sputum and will automatically cancels any upcoming interview.

Sorry for my bad grammar I'm at work right noiw and cant focus at all.

They might have done that. How did you find out your mother's appt was that time? Did you call the embassy to find out?
