I had my interview on the 19th February, I checked my status a week later and saw issued your visa has been printed but have not receive my passport yet.is over three weeks what could probably be the cause for this delay.

But call/email Embassy and ask about it.

But with out your timeline filled out and other information, it´s hard to help.

Presumably a diversity visa considering that is the forum in which it was posted.

Btw timelines tend to be pretty useless for DV cases which is why most don't fill them out. There isn't even a DV option for the profile, we have to go "other"....

One would think so, but i have seen ppl having Q about CR1 and have F2b or K1 in there profile.

So never assume it, always ask

Nevertheless, even if OP posted in wrong forum, once a visa is "issued" the preceding timeline or type of IV becomes irrelevant. Different embassies do however have different methods of getting passports back to applicants so the OP again needs to contact the embassy to find out what is causing the delay in return of the passport.
