Hi all, I'm actually too embarrassed to mention this, but others can learn from my mistake.

On last Friday, I was very excited about my K-1 Petition being received by the Texas Service Center. I woke up this morning just to browse through my duplicate copy to discovered that Question 33-"Is your fiance related to you?" I accidently left blank. Before mailing the petition, I checked and rechecked many times. All I can saw is Woe unto me.

If any of you experienced this very thing, please chime in I'm only seeking truth here not opinions. Thanks

if there are questions that are left blank you may receive a RFE the thing is the sooner you get the information back the sooner you can return it. However just answer honestly..According to New York state it is legal to marry a cousin I am not sure about GA. Judgement free zone.

Somehow my now wife checked that box even though we are not related. The whole thing went through without a problem and I did not even notice it until after I left the consulate with an approved visa.

You can expect either a RFE (easy fix) or get lucky.
