Hi, I was wondering what to put on me and my wife's G-325a form for where it says: "This form is submitted in connection with an application for:" The choices are "naturalization, status as permanent resident, or other(specify)" We are filing DCF for the CR1 immigrant visa.

Also when it asks about our employment history I'm not sure what to put for the address and such because we have both worked for Odesk which is an online job, and we have worked for americans and australians on Odesk while living in the Philippines. Thank you for your help smile.gif

I have the same question regarding employment history as I work online too. What did you put in the employment history? Any advice I would really appreciate it. Thank you!

Are you employed? Are you self-employed? What do you mean by you "work online"? That could mean you sell on eBay. Do you mean remote working? I work remotely for my employer. The office is 200 miles away and I have been there only once (to sign my contract). I work at home connected to the company network. Is that what you do? I put the name and address of my employer but I added a continuation sheet to explain how I work for a company that is 200 miles from my home.

Hi JFH! Thanks for responding. By the way, I'm the beneficiary to fill up the form g325a. Regarding my job, I work remotely, was hired by an Australian company through Upwork. I work with them as their Virtual Assistant so we only communicate through email and skype. Would this be ok if I put: "name of the company" - "city and country of the company" for the address then I add "(online/remote job)" and for position I put "Virtual Assistant"? Thanks for your help!

I wouldn't complicate it. I would the name and address of the company that pays you (that's your employer) and the name of the job (virtual assistant, in your case). I wouldn't write the job title as "remote work" because that's not a job title. I would add a continuation sheet also to explain that you work remotely, especially if the company is located overseas.

It sounds very similar to the set-up we have for our work.
