Received envelope from Canada Post - CR-1 Visa inside, do I open?

So, this seems like a really dumb question to me but i'm asking anyways cause I don't wanna risk anything bad happening. I got Approved! for the CR-1 Visa and i'll be immigrating very shortly and finally will join my wife! Hurray!

So, I went to pickup my envelope at the designated post office (in Canada) and... well.... do I open it? There are no markings saying don't open and I can only assume that there is my passport and other information inside it. Right now, it's just a white envelope...that's it. No "do not open" warnings...

So, can I open it? Is there another envelope inside it that will say do not open? I'm not quite sure of the next step (what's my POE, or do I just go to anyone I please, etc...).

Anyone know if I can open this envelope? Again, it's the one that I picked up from the post office...just plain white packaging...

Yes. You can open that envelope you need to have passport in hand there should be another envelope inside that you do not open. Your POE is whererver you enter the US.

In Canada POE depends on if you're flying or driving.

Majority of Canadian airports have preclearance where POE would happen.
