So my family's visa have been issued and are in hand. My wife and two stepdaughters live in the Philippines. They are packing and getting their paperwork ready for their flights in a week in a half. We realized that one of my stepchildren is listed as a IR2 visa and I was wondering why/hoping this won't be a problem. I looked over both daughters paperwork and they are all the same besides names and birthdates. My wife and I were married in 2014. She has a 5 year old and 3 year old daughter from before we were married. My wife is listed as CR1, the 5 year old is CR2, and the 3 year old is IR2. Does anyone know why? Thank you very much.

I just double-checked. Her paperwork definitely lists me as her "stepfather". Her paperwork is identical to her sisters, except names and birthdates. So wondering why hers says IR2 and not CR2 like her sister. They leave next week. I am hoping this won't be a problem.

If she enters after July 28th, 2016, then her and the children would receive 10 year green cards. If it is before that date then they all get conditional green cards.
