Can I visit US and turn back to my country with my B visa just 3 days before my overseas embassy interview for my IR-1 visa?

You think this guy is crazy and what a stupid question. Let me explain. I applied for a job in US and the interview date for the job in US is just 3 days before my IR1 visa interview in an overseas embassy. I have an issued B1 visa. Can I enter and turn back with that for 1 day?

Also in advance even if they postpone the interview for one week, I don't want to enter right away since I have 6 months to find a job?

What is your idea about this crazy topic?

I guess I would try to postpone the interview. I think you can try traveling, but I for one wouldn't want to jeopardize the IR1 interview if you ended up delayed. just my opinion.
