hello everyone,

i am a little bit happy because i got the chance to hear someones experiences here in their own journey as their partner did everything not to be far away anymore and end up the long distance commitment in their relationship. I am 27 years old and been together in a long distance status for 2 years already. My boyfriend is a Filipino and a long time citizen in US. I know he did so much effort just for us and for me to spend time with him forever without miles away in between us, He filed last year and got denied because of one paper that he forgot to pass, the officer gave us the chance to redo our application and told us not to pass anymore the first and basic requirements instead pass the missing document and wait for his 2nd bio-metric schedule. that was last year of 2015, month of September. until now we haven't heard anything from them, even we already hired a lawyer. until now no answers or any feed backs from our mails. i felt very worried because me and my partner have no idea what happened to our application.. did our papers are on going, pending or useless already.. i dont know what to do for now, and my trust to my fiancee was already affected because i sometimes felt he didn't apply again. maybe he just told he applied again but for real he didn't. i hope someone might actually interested to reply and tell me their experiences or advice for me to feel okay,,

' filed last year and got denied because of one paper that he forgot to pass, the officer gave us the chance to redo our application and told us not to pass anymore the first and basic requirements instead pass the missing document and wait for his 2nd bio-metric schedule.'

**What did he not include? Was their a letter asking him to send it but he didn't?**

**What 2nd biometric schedule?**

**If it was denied petition before you had interview in your country, you will need re file. Or was it just a letter asking for the missing document and did you send it?**

'. i dont know what to do for now, and my trust to my fiancee was already affected because i sometimes felt he didn't apply again. maybe he just told he applied again but for real he didn't.'

**Ask him for the letter he would have received once he filed the new petition. If you can't trust that he has filed it though are you sure you want to be with someone you can't trust completely. Just want you to be safe :-) **

Sorry. It's difficult to understand what stage of this you are in. If your fiance is the US citizen as you say, I am not sure where this "2nd biometrics schedule" come into situation. If he is the US citizen, filed a I-129f petition, and it was denied, he would refile that. However, you two would have to wait again for the adjudication which is currently at 5 months. If you have been waiting longer than that, you can call USCIS to put in a service request. As Illiria mentioned, you should be able to simply ask your fiance for the Notice of Action receipt he would have obtained within two weeks of refiling. Hopefully, you guys can work that out between you. I'm sure you are already aware that trust is a major part of a marriage's foundation. Feel free to clarify so we can help you more. I'm just not sure what he filed and what he was missing.
